Mike Borsetti
Mike is the founder and CEO of Abovetel, an intra-enterprise session management service provider. His experience includes almost two decades defining and delivering market-leading telecommunications services and products. Previously to founding Abovetel, he was a Venture Consultant for Accel Partners, an early executive at DSL startup NorthPoint Communications heading strategic technology and product management, a marketing executive with Cellular One (now AT&T Mobility), and a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. In addition, he has provided strategic advisory services to Telecom Italia, Sprint PCS, Rogers Communications, myQube Ventures, Good Technologies (acquired by Motorola) and LongBoard Communications. Mike is a founding Board member of the International Softswitch Consortium and an investor and advisor to several early stage companies. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and an MA from Northwestern University.
Oliver Davis
Oliver has 15 years of marketing and sales management experience in the communications and software industry. He is currently COO of concept3D Inc., where he oversees operations, sales, marketing and business development activities. concept3D is a venture-backed, 3 dimensional modeling software development and services company founded by Board member and executives from @Last Software (acquired by Google in 2006). Prior to concept3D Oliver held marketing and business development management positions at Edgewater Networks, Level3 Communications, Telverse Communications, NorthPoint Communications and AT&T Wireless. Oliver holds a BA Political Science from Skidmore College.
Eric Galcher
Eric has over 20 years of operational and consulting experience in communications, technology, and manufacturing markets. He was co-founder, COO and CFO of Telverse Communications through to its eventual sale to Level 3 Communications. Telverse was a nationwide (US) carrier-class hosted VoIP service. Prior to Telverse, Eric was President of Vovida Networks Canada, a subsidiary of Vovida Networks. Vovida was acquired by Cisco Systems. Prior to joining Vovida, he held consulting and management positions with companies including the Results Group, Deloitte Consulting, PRTM, A.T. Kearney and General Electric. Eric holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, an MSE from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.
Marco Rubin
Marco is currently Managing Partner at Exoventure Associates, an investment advisory firm serving the diverse needs of complementary, non-competitive clients in private equity, corporate venturing, and federal venturing capital. Marco has invested in 26 early-stage technology companies throughout his career and has held leadership roles with funds recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as Top 100 VCs in 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006. Marco currently serves as the Advisor to the Commonwealth of Virginia's CIT technology seed fund. Prior to Exoventure, he was founder of Monumental Venture Partners, LLC (MVP) making investments in security, information technology, telecommunications, software and medical devices sectors. MVP produced acquisitions of portfolio companies to Dolby Labs and Level 3 Communications. Before MVP, Marco launched New Ventures, MCI's venture capital unit until the company's acquisition in 1998. Prior to venture capital, Marco served Fortune 500 and Federal clients while with Booz Allen & Hamilton, Inc. He began his career as an engineer at Johnson Space Center and holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BSEE from the University of New Mexico.
