Management Team

David Bryan, Chief Executive Officer

David Bryan oversees all day-to-day company operations. David is a recognized thought leader in the area of P2PSIP and is co-chair of the IETF P2PSIP Working Group. He has published numerous IETF drafts, industry trade articles, and academic papers on the subject and is active in the SIP community. Prior to founding SIPeerior, David was co-founder and CTO of Jasomi Networks, a pioneer in the SIP Session Border Controller (SBC) market, which was sold to Ditech Communications in 2005. David previously worked for Cisco Systems via its acquisition of Vovida Networks, where he led a team of developers creating the first open-source softswitch. David holds bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Physics from The Richard Stockton College of NJ, as well as a master's degree in Computer Science from The College of William and Mary.

 
 

Tom O'Connor, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Tom O'Connor is responsible for all revenue generating activities at SIPeerior, including defining the global sales strategy, managing the growth of the sales and marketing organizations, and evaluating strategic business partnership opportunities. Prior to joining SIPeerior, Tom was a Vice President at Level 3 Communications, where he led a variety of Sales and Alliance Development teams in the carrier, content and voice service provider markets. He joined Level 3 as a result of its acquisition of Telverse Communications, a hosted-VoIP provider, where he had responsibility for all sales activities and served as a member of the executive management team. Previously, he held Director of Sales and OEM Alliances positions at Polycom. He began his career bringing new video and audio conferencing products to market while at 2CONFER, later acquired by WireOne. Tom holds B.A. degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

 
 

Dr. Bruce B. Lowekamp, Vice President of Engineering

Dr. Bruce Lowekamp manages SIPeerior's engineering activities. As an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at The College of William and Mary, he has published numerous articles on topics such as performance monitoring, peer-to-peer communications, adaptive applications, virtual machines for distributed computing, and simulation of ad hoc mobile networks. Active with standards bodies, Bruce is a former co-chair of the Global Grid Forum's Network Measurements working group and a contributor to the IETF. He also worked on numerical stability analysis software at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Bruce received his B.S. from Virginia Tech and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
